New project: MEGASTRUCTURES
Hi there,
this is a new project of mine, MEGASTRUCTURES, basically a roguelike with transhumanism cyberpunk and post-cyberpunk elements. I added a description of the project on the main page.
I have been wanting to work on such a game for more than 10 years but couldnt so far, so I’m happy I’m finally diving in. The actual development, as in the coding, didn’t start yet. I intend to start it on a live-stream in the coming days or weeks. The main thing preventing me from doing it immediately is that I am finishing some other projects first.
If you are interested in this kind of project and want to have an overview of what to expect, you might want to read my post on reddit/r/roguelikdev which summarize what the game will be (with some not-so-sure features) and my plan.
I intend to maybe write sometime some devlogs here and livestream parts of the prototypes development. However this might also take too much time compared to the development itself so I don’t guarantee I will be super regular or even do it the whole time. We’ll see. I hope that it will help with showing you the progress through time though.
I’ll post here first when I will know the day and hour when I will be livestreaming the first bootstraping of the prototypes, but I will also make sure to keep a video copy of it somewhere too.
